mt. hood weekend

We stayed at Timberline to celebrate Labor Day weekend with Nana and Jonesie. It actually snowed on Sunday - though it was hard to get on film. Lots of clouds and mist which gave us only glimpses of the mountain top. We took advantage of the pool and the pretty fireplace. We also hit "Disney on the Mountain" at SkiBowl - trying out the alpine slide and go-karts. I read until late, late at night, completely snuggled into the feather beds.

There is something about the day after Labor Day that makes me all happy and ready for fall, needing a fresh tablet and new pens. I went back to work after having Em a year ago today - it seems so long ago and yet so very fast. Our little baby is a walking, grunting toddler and our big boy is about to start kindergarten. We definitely feel like a complete family and are now hanging on for complete craziness.
