library block party

The greatest library in the world threw a fabulous Summer Reading block party. I was so happy to be on maternity leave and attend as a patron - not as a worker. The library closed off Taylor St. and had tons of crafts, snacks, balloon artists and best of all - Captain Bogg and Salty - the rockin' pirate band that Portland loves. They've gotten so big and popular but still play library events - I love them. We had a great time.
